Rave Reviews for Postcards

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC opened  its 44th Season with Postcards, their popular annual cabaret show. This year’s edition featured 18 soloists from the Chorus sharing hilarious and heart-warming stories and songs about the travel adventures they’ve had and hope to have. Songs included “Midnight Train to Georgia,” “Streets of Dublin,” “Magic To Do,” “Home,” and “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.”

Critic Ian Kirkland of DC Theater Arts said the show was “thoroughly engaging” and “Postcards transports its audiences to a rich spectrum of experience, tradition, and identity.” And critic Corvin Kevhihan of MD Theatre Guide called the show “…a bright, entertaining cabaret with moments of humor, emotion, and heart.”
