Rave reviews for The Holiday Show

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC continued its 44th Season with The Holiday Show, the always-popular holiday extravaganza. The 2024 edition featured tap dancing, jump roping, Santa Claus, the GenOUT Youth Chorus, all of GMCW’s vocal ensembles, and special music guests World Music Collective.

Critic Em Skow of DC Theater Arts called the show “exuberant and joyful” and said “is absolutely a merry way to keep this holiday season bright. A celebration of love, home, peace, and community at a time when the world needs more of exactly that, The Holiday Show compels you to open your heart, your ears, and your arms to those around you.”

And critic Anne Valentino of MD Theatre Guide says “Regardless of the time of year, regardless of the songs they perform, GMCW shows have an ever-present connecting thread — the celebration of the diversity that enriches the world and a plea for peace and love.”
